Springtime In The South

I do know that it is January...
I don't think that the shurbs and buttercups know it is still Winter.
They are blooming away. We have not had a freeze yet. It has only been below 32 degrees 2 times this winter. The yellowbell bushes are also blooming. The buttercups in the 1st picture usually bloom about the end of February. They are thinking it is Spring here in the South. Is anyone else having an early Spring where you live?  Or is it just Alabama?
Till Later....

It's been really warm here in NC too. Today is only in the 50's though, which is pretty normal. The weather is just pure tee nuts!!

Isn't this winter crazy? I know that I'm about 5-6 hours south of you but I've been seeing azalea bushes in full bloom, in January, in N. W. Florida! I've lived here almost 15 years and don't remember that ever happening.

I live in the real northern VA and I keep going outside and yelling at my plants to stop. It has been so warm here (mid-60s today!) that they are really confused.

We have had above-average weather in Maryland, high is supposed to be 66 today. That will help melt the sheet of ice on my driveway from Sunday night's snow that didn't amount to much. My crocuses came up, but they've been frozen and stopped growing. We'll see if they survive.
