WHERE OH WHERE HAS APRIL BEEN?

Hello friends!!  I have been down at the trailer working my butt off. We have a lady interested in renting it. She told us so was living with a room mate and she wanted to move out.. Without room mate at first....All I will say, is that now she wants him and his 2 kids to move with her and that more things have come up.. like 2 kids, a dog, and heavy smokers both. I'm sorry if I offend any smokers. I am allergic to smoke. I immediately have trouble breathing. While they were there I had to stand a distance from them.. My house has never been smoked in. I'm I a bad person? I have just had a bad time letting go, after all the hard work.
I do have some good stitching news!! I started a new New Years project!
The Christmas Village by CCN. I joined Vonna's site.  This is my progress so far.

I am stitching it on the called for linen with the called for threads. I did purchase the star for the tree.  I am stitching mine separate. I may make ornaments of each.
I am also stitching on The Beloved Companion Sampler by Pineberry Lane. It will be a memorial sampler for our beloved Rebel.

Sorry for the dark picture. It has been raining here for days. I may need to build an ark or at least find a motorboat to get around! I am loving this stitch. I do not mind over one stitching at all. On to more good news!  I am just full of news today!
I have lost 15 pounds since the week after Christmas!  I am so proud of myself.  I am thankful for The Victosa Shot. My sugar is staying between 98 and 101. It still makes me sick sometimes, but only if I eat to much or eat bad junk sugary foods. I am learning that I do not have to eat Everything on my plate. I have 45 pounds to go.  I hope I can do it by the end of summer.
I will leave y'all with a picture of the two babies. This is how I find them most rainy days! Till Later.....

Very pretty starts.

I wouldn't want smokers renting our house. My brother rents from my parents and it REEKS in there, and there isn't that much fabric in the house to suck in the smoke.

You are the landlord and have done so much work. I see nothing wrong with renting as a non~smoking unit. Good luck!
Love your stitches!

Congrats on the weight loss April. You are not a bad person. I smoke (not in the house), but I respect and honor a person wishes that don't want to be around the smoke. If it were me, I would not rent to them. Love your new starts. Your furbabies are adorable.

In no particular order - good going on the 15 lbs! Yeah you! Both stitching pieces look like you have a nice bit of progress. And no, you are not a bad person to not like smoke or to not want to rent to smokers. Think about it, they are the ones that are rude and bad when they make the rest of us smell that nasty smoke on their clothes and in their hair, etc. Oops, I guess this ex-smoker got carried away!

Those renters sound awful. No way!
You can lose the weight. You can do it sweets. I know you can. Be healthy, be strong.
Love them fuzzy babies. So adorable.

Love your start. I thought about doing the Christmas village. Now about the smoking, I decided years ago to STOP people from smoking in my home. I, like you, am really bothered by it. My DH's family are all smokers but they honor my wishes, so I say it is your property so you have the right to make the rules.

Congratulations on losing 15!
Even though I was once a smoker, I know what you mean about the smell getting in to everything. I didn't smoke in the house and always tried to be respectful of non smokers. Good luck with all that.
Your stitching is beautiful.

Good to see you blogging! I don't blame you, cigarette smoke stains the walls of a home after a while and the smell lingers. Horray on your weight loss! Love the beautiful stitching! Such sweet kitties!
