MISSING.......

 Missing - one green suet feeder. Last seen- when it had a brand new Berry Suet put in it. I seen Mr. Squirrel checking it out. Now I think he was just seeing how to get it unhooked and back to his hiding spot. I have yet to find it or the suspect, Mr. Squirrel!  lol
Adding a new suet feeder to list to buy..... I think I may get the peanut suet next.. The berry was just to tempting for Mr. Squirrel!

Just a couple of spring flowers blooming around the yard. These were along the drive coming to the homestead. This was the last lonely one to bloom, all the other have bloomed and died. Poor lonely flower. I'm surprised Zoe didn't find it to pick when they were at the house the other day.

I don't know how the Lily of the Valley has survived.. This rose bed has been tilled up and turned over and this plant keeps coming up year after year..

Just a little post to let y'all know I'm still here.  Been stitching on Snooty Parrot Sampler and some little Easter stitching.  I have yet to do anything with my peat pots yet. 

Oh, I have got to share this.. I broke my good seeing eye glasses. I don't have a back up spare pair, but that won't happen again.. Anyway, I dropped them in the driveway and then somehow, we found them smashed to pieces. So... I happened to remember I had a pair from about 8 years ago. I thought better to wear them until I get my new ones..
Well, I have found the show The Tudors on Netflix. So many men with no shirts on and I can't even see it, because I need stronger lens! lol
Everything is still fuzzy. lol  That is not a good thing!!!  Oh well, it still has a great story line!

 I have been painting peat pots. I have some ideas for these.  They are now sitting in my craft room, waiting to turn into something....

We finished the floor in the kitchen and dinning area. I will take a picture as soon as the sun decides it wants to show itself again.

 In the meantime, baseball has kept us busy. Joshua is playing again this year. 3rd year and 6 years old. Zoe is doing Ballet. But in the meantime this is her at Brother's games:

Look at that smile! She was cold.... It has been so cold at 7:30 yes, I said 7:30 at night!  We finish up at 9 pm. The next morning, Mom says Josh doesn't want to get up to go to school.. I wonder why?  Their bedtime is 8:00 on a school night.  We kid Raeanne and say well... when it turns 8 during a game to tell Josh to come off the field, time for Bed!  lol  Don't think that would go over well.

BUSY AS BEES! WE ARE....

Thanks everyone for the well wishes! They must be working. I'm feeling better each day. Just a little news about something I'm excited about:
We have central heat!!!  Just in time for this next polar cold. We had central heat but the duct work had rusted and fell apart. Hubby and nephew went under house and put in all new duct work and vents. With that done. We decided to buy a new electric furnace.  I'm so toasty warm. I love just walking by that new thermostat and bumping it up to warm the house. lol  Doesn't take much to make me happy!
Now we're in the middle of a new project. Flooring! The dining area and kitchen needed new. We did not renovate those floors when we moved in 4 years ago. We found some Laminate Flooring at home Depot for .66 a square foot and it was the color I was looking for. It was discontinued flooring. We bought all they had.

 So... after we do the kitchen and dining area, we have enough to do the front bathroom.
The front bathroom needed a new tub, so we got a new tub, surround kit and a new sink. All that new is white, so guess what? Out with the Golden toilet and I mean Golden! Yellowish color.. lol 
While I was resting this week, I had some great mail come in. Some new charts from Market.

I happened to have been in Cato's store the other day and seen this jewelry tray on clearance. I light bulb showed up over my head. This is the idea I had. All my stuff contained to this tray! I put it beside my stitching chair in the sun room.  Everything right where it needs to be.                                                                                      I have been stitching.... I'm stitching on the Heirloom Afghan. I have some pin cushions to put together but the sun room is full of the dining room furniture.. Maybe later this week, I can get them finished and posted. My house is all messed up!
